About us

Hello friends! As you have probably heard BBPA has been undergoing some organizational challenges since our Coordinator Of Volunteers moved on to greener pastures. This is our final update on our situation.
We are proud of the many events and initiatives we have presented and of the work done by our volunteers over the years – including the installation of Cammidge House within the park. We remember many fun hours browsing at our Car Boot Sales or having Santa visit Cammidge House.

We are thankful to have had the opportunity to work in partnership, not only with Metro Vancouver Parks and their on site staff and management but also with local organizations like the Tsawwassen Boundary Bay Lions and our biggest supporters, the Delta Naturalists Society.

Now the time has come to move on. As of November 5 2021, the Board has voted to dissolve the organization. Our web site and Facebook page will remain active until the end of the year and then will fade away.

We encourage you to love, enjoy and protect the Boundary Bay Park and the rare and ecologically sensitive areas around it and hope that you support all the non-profit organizations working to protect them.
